What a mover does
Movers pack, load, transport and unload furniture, boxes and equipment for residential, commercial and office moves. They wrap and protect items, disassemble and reassemble furniture, plan how to load the truck, and carry heavy loads through stairs, elevators and tight hallways without damaging walls or floors. Some movers also drive the truck, which may call for a Class D licence depending on its size. Every move happens in front of the customer, so attitude matters as much as strength.
One damaged piece of furniture or a rude moment can cost you a review and a referral. Finch screens movers for real moving experience, safe lifting habits and the patience to work in customers' homes and offices. If drivers are needed, we confirm licence class and review the driver's abstract. We also check availability for weekends and the busy months. You get a shortlist of suitable movers who can represent your company well.
